Flashback Friday

3 years ago-Maddox and Beckett were 6 months old

2 years ago-running around in the leaves in Grandpa Denny's backyard.

1 year ago-best buds, getting ready to play outside.

1 year ago-Marketa was starting to get into everything.

Last week-Beckett and Maddox look so grown up!!

Marketa, reading a book. She loves to be part of the action, but sometimes she just needs to go off by herself.

Callum is ready to get in on that action. He keeps busy watching big brothers and sister play.

It's that time of year

We've pulled out the hot chocolate again. Glad I had some mix made up from last year.

I think Marketa is in it for the marshmallows.

Beckett and Maddox love the marshmallows too, but once they've picked those out, they down the hot chocolate.

Don't be fooled. She was fishing for more marshmallows. She left most of her hot chocolate behind.

Hide n' Seek

Yep, even Callum gets to play hide n' seek.

Wednesday, October 20, 2010

Yep, Maddox likes to cuddle up really close to Beckett. Beckett likes to sleep against the wall. Scott often find them like this when he checks on them at night.

Callum can't wait to start building legos with the big boys.

Careful examination of a twig.

He is my chunky monkey...

...checking out his monkey.

3 1/2 months

My baby is 3 1/2 months old now...crazy!!

Isn't he such a cutie! My little chunk. I have to remind people that our others went through a chunky period too...

Marketa at about 3 1/2 months.

Maddox and Beckett at 3 1/2 months. Hey, that shirt looks familiar. So glad that most of my boy clothes will work for Callum. The seasons should line up pretty well.

Tornadoes

Tornado sirens went off the other morning. When I say morning, I mean very early in the morning. Like, 4:30 in the morning. There was no severe weather, not even a drop of rain or noticeable wind. Turns out there was a malfunction with the sirens. Good times. At least the kids slept in so Scott and I could catch up a little from that loss of sleep.
Anyways, we got to talking about it a lunch later that day. Now the boys know what to do if they hear those sirens again...

Apple Church

Last week we went to the apple orchard, or apple church as Beckett called it.
Jodi picked up the 4 DeGroote girls so they could come too and give Alissa some quiet time at home with Silas. So, it was 1 grandma, 2 moms and 9 kids. Crazy, but fun.

Olivia, Marketa and Eden in the one room school house.

Eden and Maddox checking out some animals.

Bella and Olivia checking out the 3 little pigs house made of sticks.

Olivia and Sabrina peaking out the window.

Beckett and Marketa in the house made of straw.

Bella on a tractor.

Maddox and Beckett had to check out the tractors a few times.

Eden, Marketa and Maddox loved running through the maze.

The girls had a ball on the jumping pillow.

Adrienne spent a lot of time in this position, trying to stand up and keep her balance.

And where were my kids, you might ask??? Nope they didn't want to jump. They were busy...

Marketa was busy playing with the buckle on the stroller.

Maddox and Beckett were busy watching the girls have fun.

Callum was asleep in the moby wrap.

They loved feeding the goats.

It was a fun morning. Afternoon naps were nice too. So was the applesauce I made up yesterday and the hot apple pie today.
We'll definitely have to go again next year.
